I was in a sports shop and must have been looking at stuff near the speakers (small sports shop) I turned round and told everyone to shut up a minute and listen. He turned up the radio and we all just stood still and listened to it.
I went to the gym after but didn't work out. We had about 50 screens showing us...sickening.

I saw a bit of the phonecalls from the towers one - but it was so sad it made me cry and I had to turn it off as I found it too depressing and then for some weird reason I decided to watch the 101 minutes of 9/11 or whatever it was called and found the same with that
Seeing it again was so bizarre and they keep bringing out unseen footage so it does interest and shock and depress me all in one

Not as much as others -Dunblane was more horrific to me.The subsequent loss of lives in the Gulf War after 9/11 has been more profound.
That doesnt detract from the horror though but I dont think it was as catastrophic as say the holocaust.
It still was a dreadful deed though and I obviously will think of the peope affected.
I suppose when you have lived with grief and tried to put your life and your childrens back on track then you become a bit blase about other peoples grief like they arent worried about our 'little' accident which was catastrophic but wasnt a big deal to others so why put energy into caring about theirs.Sad but true -dont have the energy to really have time for anyone elses at the moment.
