Can anyone give me clues for Q. 58: ... but Kelvin has a long bat! (6), and Q.66: Dis duck or dat? (5).
Also I have an answer for Q.35, but think I may be completely on the wrong track. The clue is: A bird descends to a wet place in Wales. (7,5) and my answer is the name of a famous parrot - does that sound right to anyone else?

Thank you!

Q35. Swallow Falls?
Question Author
thank you - I am pleased that I knew I was completely wrong with what I did have for 35!
65. Either this or that becomes . . . . .dis or dat.
I too await inspiration (or help) for 58.
But 66 - listen, you have a choice of two. (both would suffice)
Kelvin is K and the answer is a bat...
I wonder if you're too young to remember the feather stuffed item which was put on a bed in winter before duvets became popular!
Question Author
Thank you very much - and yes I am much too young to remember pre-duvet times! I have heard of these things though - I am blaming my pregnant brain for not seeing what now seem to be obvious answers!
Can anyone give me any clues to:
46. Adjutant could spoil a fight....(8)
52. Play the fool after a sheet was changed (3,7)
78. The last crooked, unprincipled person has a parachute! (6)
Thanks
46. Spoil = Mar, Fight = Bout
Question Author
For 52, the first word and first part of second word are an anagram of 'a sheet', second part of second word is another word for 'fool'. The whole thing gives you the name of a play.
78. 'The last' is referring to a letter of the next word and this is combined with a word defined by the next two words. This word can also mean a misfit, and it is used to describe an elephant which runs amok.
thanks for these - will get working. just one other -does anyone think that No 93 Stupid person had love letter rewritten after date... (8) is ringdove?
my answer to no.93 starts with d and the rest is made up from an anagram
93 is an anagram of 'letter 'plus two more letters, and the word means syupid fellow and it's a kind of bird.
I'm struggling on no 44; Excusion by road for a flyer.
Clues only please. Thanks
Cavendish - try an early aircraft.
I am still struggling with 15 Before the Spanish girl takes most of the water plant for the bird (6,6), 30 Judge at vast age became an old fool! (6) and 57 Hot-tempered women from the south-east have only a little bowl (4,9). I would appreciate any clues for direction of travel...
Thanks for the clue. I'm also struggling on those, but I can give you a clue for 30, think of a tthree letter word for 'a great age' and add it to a word for a judge. I hope you understand that!
15. young girl + EL, most of THe + water plant
Thanks, cavendish and johnalex - got those two now, just leaves 57
