I'm really annoyed as i've got a prepayment electric meter. No-one i spoke to on the phone could help they just kept passing me on to a different department. Grrrrr

Sorry, I'm usually good tempered, but today I failed to get satisfaction, so am taking it out on everyone. I called our companies Building and Maintenance Dept. to request a few essential repairs. Faulty door catches, damaged ceiling tiles and a non-conected air conditioning unit. Madam on the end of the phone in her air conditioned office said, and I quote, "stop being so girlie and do it yourself, and save the company �70!" As I already work 1-2 hours a day unpaid (OK more fool me) I felt just a bit p**d off by her attitude.

Maybe you should point out to her that you have no experience with DIY and that if you attempt to fix it it may end up costing the company more than �70. Tell her that if she's that concerned about saving money, then maybe SHE could come over and fix it all. That should shut her up LOL.

Found my lovely secretary in floods of tears today after she split with her boyfriend.

Gave her a long hug and saw her on the bus to pack to get back to her mammy and family in Ireland (she only came over here to be with him) knowing she probably won't come back now they've split up.

So out of the blue and I'm going to miss her so much :(
