Goodness me, week four already and the last chance for King Fordward to bamboozle you all with his choice of words. So far he has been doing a lot of reminiscing and we'll have to wait until the morn's morn to know if this is still the case or whether he will be bringing us up to date. The leadership board has been in a state of flux all month, currently showing freebi2 at the top but closely chased by ladyalex, Dustybun, evsajo, Jools & sarumite. Will one of those gain the crown? Or could an outsider come good with multiple hits? Whatever happens, it promises to be an exciting finish.

Now I have some news for you all - crofter is coming back. He will be resume control of this game as soon as I announce the results on Sunday evening. Whether he will gain control over you lot remains to be seen, but you don't want to incur the wrath of crofter. To that end I am looking for volunteers to tidy up the shrubbery and remove all evidence of revelry and debauchery. We also need someone to organise things and someone to get you all going. I think I know just the person:- "Cooee Pauline, are you around tonight?".

Debauchery is like scrabble, but there are only four-letter words
Whatever Debauchery is Kay...us women should win!
Thats true Pauline - you always win
-- answer removed --
yes...'by each rude ' word!!

We played I spy on the coach trip to Sarumites garden and that was different.
Hope its just your car that has been the problem Pauline.
My 2 grandsons went back yesterday so am even more glum today.
Had a very big vets bill as my little dog had to have teeth out. (a problem with yorkshire terriers ) and the anaesthetic cost 50.85p, then there was extractions , scale and polish!!! , 3 lots of injections and anti biotic capsules to take for next 5 days. I am now broke!!!!
So what has been the highlight of your week...anyone?

Apart from a big row with TOYOTA - STOCKPORT!!

Man U beat Arsenal 4-0!!
Oh Kay..that's Wuff!! :-))

Hope he is okay now...we have our dog insured...but maybe it wouldn't cover you for that.
Flying visit tonight.

Re: tidying up - I refer you to an item about delivering female satisfaction I wrote a few weeks ago... I've been at it again today....

Must dash - the iron's still on and I haven't managed to open a bottle yet.

PS - Yves de Bauchery was a 16th century French poet who'd originally been a Benedictine novice but, in effect, became a de-frocked priest owing to his unfortunate habit (sic) of loving his neighbours as himself having sampled the Order's holy spirits... and his name lives on now, in much the same way as a Hoover is synonymous witha vacuum cleaner.

Best of luck to all participants in each game tomorrow - my ambition is to trouble at least one of the scorers.
I dread to think what Hoover got up to!!!
The mind boggles!!! :-))
The mind boggles............Debauchery and Hoover !!!!!!!
Great minds think alike
Crikey, this is all getting a little prosaic.

I was, after my comments about debaucheryy, looking forward to some invitations to sins of the flesh.

What do I get - a reminder from some of you about the illnesses of your own canines - that I, tomorrow, am about to fund, as a consequence, our local vet on a luxury holiday to somewhere like Bali as of our four dogs, one, a lurcher, has a skin infection, the next a black labrador has, from trying to dig rabbits out of their homes, a paw infection and the third, a foxhound, has kennel cough.

After that lot the vet could probably, after we have paid, afford to fly by upper class.

I think will go and find a bottle to share with all you animal owners still lurking in the shrubbery

Hope one of you has a corkscrew.......

Hello whats all this about debauchery and hoovers?????

Any drink left or has sarumite had it all again?
Hi Jools...Sarumite popped in and popped out!...armed with a bottle and a mushroom stir fry!!

Strix...I know what you mean about vets..let's face it..how do we know what's wrong when the dear animal can't tell us...and how do we know the vet is making it up as he goes along??!!

Same as dentists...have you ever seen a poor one??

x-ray....whatever the guy did he was no sucker!!! :-))

Oh don't get me on my soap box!!
Strix I don't feel quite so bad now!!! I do have another Yorkie but his teeth are not bad. We were only having one, then i saw the little one who was the runt of the litter and of course I has to have him!!!! He is the one who costs all the money. We had only had him a week when he jumped out of my husbands arms and broke his leg!!!
My son named them Murphy and Beamish, guess what after!!!!!!
They are 9 now and classed by the vet as geriatrics!!!!!
Now whats all this about hoovers???
I think I'll just go and get myself a glass of Baileys
Must admit though in fairness the vet near us is very good...he does not charge a consultation fee...only charges for any treatment he has to give.

Mind you, looking at the bill... after the antibiotics etc...wonder what the botox is for?? :-))
Evening all! On the subject of vet's bills one of my dogs snapped her Achilles tendon (cost a fortune to have it pinned). While she was in plaster I bought her a luxury pet bed to relax in. She chewed the damn thing, got her stomach full of sponge and it cost another pretty penny to have her stomach split open and emptied. Left with one dog with leg in plaster, stomach shaved and cut from one end to the other and a bank balance in the red! Enjoy your drinks.
