Week three already and it hardly seems a couple of days since the last Links Games and let's hope Kate doesn't throw us another wobbly this weekend. Anyway, that is more of a concern for seekeerz - My concern is the MM links game currently being set by King Fordward. Unfortunately, his work schedule continues to mean that he is not around at the requisite time so I will be making the posts on his behalf for the remaining couple of weeks. Hopefully work does not interfere with your Saturday mornings and you will be standing by in an 'orderly queue' at 9 am as usual. Will you respond to instinct? or to logical deduction?

There has been a mixed reaction so far with freebi2 well attuned in week 1 and Dustybun making good last week. If they can do it, you can do it. Just empty your mind and think like a man - anything King Fordward can think of, surely you can too.

If it is quiet to start with in the shrubbery, You may like to make a start on the spring pruning - thank you. Enjoy yourselves.

As usual, the bonus points will be there for the taking as you nurse your virtual hangovers out of the shrubbery at 9:00 am tomorrow and remember that King Fordward's thread will be opened by gen2 at about 8.45 in the morning. The MM Link Game should then be officially launched when the four words to be linked are posted at 9.00am. Then it is up to yourselves.

The international version of this same game is called KM Links and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who provides the entertainment, refreshments and rule of law when dealing with that parallel game. In this case, the choice of words and their links are out of our control. They are the grey words chosen by Kate Mepham in her Crosswords in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday and Monday!
Well, here's a surprise! I'm first in and the red wine is already in the glass - the host(ess) in the Shrubbery is very well organised tonight.

As there's no-one else here at the moment, I think I'll amuse myself with herb garden....
If you pull away that greenery at the side of the shrubbery bicycle shed - easy to do, just click on this, http://www.castle-campbell.co.uk/bar1.jpg - and you can all help me celebrate being a hotshot because it hain't never goin' to 'appen h'again!! Wish I could stay but.... Have a good evening all! Dee xx :0)
Good idea to have the wine already. shall help myself and take Gen2s advice and start the pruning.

Shall not be here next week as we are going to london to see Dirty dancing and we will rock you, so there will be one less drinking the wine, all the more for the rest of you.
Hi all...just got in!! Been on an errand of mercy!...Long story...any wine going?...and I'm starving!!
Forget the wine, paulineward, it seems you need something more substantial like this instead this evening. Hope it helps....

Hoping it will dry out enough to work in it soon!

Any ideas as to fordward's way of thinking?
as he is a man, don't think he will go down the Valentine route do you?
Very quiet here tonight...all lying low are we?
If he's a real man he'll be too scared to avoid it....

Always loved the St Valentine's card I got many years ago (no chance to expect one now I suspect!) which was an Ogden Nash quote:

"I'm no saint, and I have my doubts about St Valentine too.."
