Week three already and it hardly seems a couple of days since the last Links Games and let's hope Kate doesn't throw us another wobbly this weekend. Anyway, that is more of a concern for seekeerz - My concern is the MM links game currently being set by King Fordward. Unfortunately, his work schedule continues to mean that he is not around at the requisite time so I will be making the posts on his behalf for the remaining couple of weeks. Hopefully work does not interfere with your Saturday mornings and you will be standing by in an 'orderly queue' at 9 am as usual. Will you respond to instinct? or to logical deduction?

There has been a mixed reaction so far with freebi2 well attuned in week 1 and Dustybun making good last week. If they can do it, you can do it. Just empty your mind and think like a man - anything King Fordward can think of, surely you can too.

If it is quiet to start with in the shrubbery, You may like to make a start on the spring pruning - thank you. Enjoy yourselves.

Just popping in for a quick hello, but having an early night as I've got a very busy day tomorrow. Everyone seems a bit subdued tonight. Is it the weather?
Well...I've done nothing the last 2 weeks!!...so anything will do me! I am going to take my time tomorrow...slow and steady!!
Following on from St Valentine's Day...as it is a Leap Year...would you women ...knowing what you know now..propose on Leap Year Day?? :-))
There are several proposals I might make, Pauline, but marriage isn't one of them. As I read recently "After marriage, husband and wife become two sides of a coin; they just can't face each other, but still they stay together."
Very good Christiana!! I like it!!
Well, they do say that a bachelor is a man who never makes the same mistake once...
I was happily married but widowed when my children were still small, so I've probably just been on my own too long. I'm too used to having my own way and not having to iron the shirts I expect. But I'm daft enough to feel a hint of nostalgia when some of my friends' husbands get all romantic with valentines etc. Then I think 'dirty socks' and it's amazing how quickly the nostalgia wears off!
Yes...Christiana!! ..as well as other 'habits!'

Big Mac...I'll bet you were a real Romantic on the day!!
Hello and goodye everyone. I've had the most hectic day. Sold my dining table and chairs on Ebay to someone in London. A courier was coming to fetch them at 12pm so I was giving them all an extra clean and polish and he arrived at 10am.! Had to help him load them as he was alone.
I am also feeding no.1 daughter's cats while they are away and their house is the other side of town so have to go backwards and forwards twice a day and the blinkin cats don't appear!!!
Decided to SCRUB my kitchen floor and am also trying to tidy Lindsey's house.
Nicky (no.2 daughter) Stuart and 2 grandsons are coming to stay on Tuesday so am changing beds (N & S have my bed as it's king size and Stu is very tall) and I have to move into back room.
Basically to cut a long story short am absolutely kn****** so am going to bed.
Oh Sister in law and husband came to visit tonight too!!!!!
May be late posting if it's nice in the morning because our local car boot has started up so will have to give it a visit
Goodnight everyone, am taking a glass of Baileys to bed with me
Well I'm away to my poor little single bed (actually it's a queen size, plenty of room to stretch). I'll leave it up to you whether you feel sorry for me or envious!
Oh Evsajo, now I'm definitely feeling sorry for myself. I don't have any Baileys!
Well...you've all popped in and out tonight.!..had a busy time myself this week. It should be quiet in the shrubbery tonight then...will have most of it to myself...and stretch out!! Should be still asleep when you all step over me in the morning!
No Christiana...Bailey's is a bit sickly...a decent Brandy is what I recommend! :-))
Well, if you must know, I succumbed to the commercial pressures of the day - Tesco did a very good dozen roses for 4.75 - but I also made chocolate covered strawberries AND put a bottle of something French and fizzy in the fridge just to enjoy the alliteration...
Oh Big Mac, you old romantic. All that alliteratation can really go to a girl's head. Anyway, I do have the brandy, Pauline, so exit stage left and 'see' you all in the morning.
Big Mac!!...You great big softie you!
Or do I mean 'alliteration'. This brandy's stronger than I thought. Night all
Oh sorry Christiana, my son bought me a big bottle as part of my Christmas present, I'd gladly share if you were nearer.
It's my 2nd Valentines day on my own and didn't really notice last year but this year it really got to me. Geoff always bought me red roses (even though we would have been married 40 years this year, I was a child bride!) and a prezzie too. He always choose a lovely card but it was more what he wrote in it, especially in the last 3 years when he was ill. I have kept them all so at least I can re-read them. I even found myself looking at cards for husband this year, but as you say it's very easy to get used to a big bed with plenty of room, and eating when you like, and staying up until 3am if you want and not having to wash smelly socks!!!
I mustn't start writing on here as all my good intentions of a reasonably early night will fly out of the window. I AM going to bed, Goodnight again. Kay
Yes, it was just a shame there was no-one to share it with and I had a dreadful headache this morning....
Sleep tight Kay...and Christiana....will now read my book and stand watch!!! :-))
