People donate stuff they don't wan't anymore for others to have (for free). So it's getting recyled rather than being thrown away.
hello henrys how are you?
i am a member of the freecycle group in my area, just as estie is a member of her gtoup over in NEW YORk, it was her that told me about it. It is a yahoo group set up in many areas and you can look up the one nearest to your postcode. if you have something you don;t want you can advertise it for free and people in the group get the emails once a day for things offered, usually you just reply if it is something you want and then contact is made either by email or phone for collection. It works well and means things are recycled rather than dumped, everything is 'free to a good home' and apart from animals or illegal stuff anything is possible. it's a very good system.

hello henrys how are you plank?
do you feel so much need for nurturing?
lmao
freecycle is an excellent way of getting rid of your 'rubbish' . We all throw stuff away that some one else needs the only rule is that you cannot charge for anything ie. free.
