If so what do you do for it. Personally, I go to scare events at theme parks and dress up. I mainly go to Thorpe Park for this

I hate 'Trick or Treat' but with grandchildren and a great grandson, I grit my teeth and smile.
Testing
It was closed, MargoTester - probably in error.
It's a no from me.
Oh, and I should have said - a big No from me. I tolerated it - the dressing up, the parties at the Brownies and Cubs etc - when the children were young, but I was delighted when they grew out of it.
neveracrossword - thank you , I realise that it was just a way of showing is was now open again
Celebrate ? No. I note it.

And I note that terrible practice of demanding sweets under threat of getting a "trick" played on you, has crossed the Pond. What an awful thing to teach your kid, that it is ok to threaten people unless they hand over what you want, just because you want someone else rather than yourself to pay for your kids' tooth rot.
No, we don't celebrate and never have. Working in a school and living in the area, it was curtains closed or hide behind the settee if anyone came calling. I don't mind other people celebrating with parties but am not a fan of trick or treating at all!
No & never have.
No,and never will.
Children love Halloween, it’s a bit of fun for them .
The children should be 8 or under, with accompanying parents or guardians. The willing victims should indicate that they wished to be knocked at their door, e.g. by putting jack'o'lanterns or other decorations outside. Then it's OK. Otherwise, it is not OK!
For small children it's a magical time - we had lots of fun decorating the house and kept a stock of treats for the local tinies and their parents visiting after dark.
We do not celebrate it, but by arrangement our hamlet caters for the little ones. Those who do not wish to be disturbed need do nothing. Those that are happy for callers write on our local FB page and put a pumpkin outside. There are only 7 children here so we are not normally too disturbed.
Halloween ..... Thatchers Day ...The day of Evil.
Grandkids like to carve pumpkins to make Jack o Lanterns. Nothing else. When they were at school they would dress up
Ridiculous thing to celebrate. Another thing the US has dumped on us. Last thing I want is a mob of screaming kids knocking on my door. I keep a bucket of **** behind the door to chuck over them.
lankeela: "Ridiculous thing to celebrate. Another thing the US has dumped on us." - er nope it's All hallows eve, the eve of all saints day. You can blame the Catholics for that one.
....actually is goes back to an ancient Celtic festifal even before that!
I yhink the Celts and druids aldo had something to do with it.

I don't "celebrate it"...even though I grew up with it. My mum didn't allow me out. But, when my daughter was small (after moving to the UK) I took her around. We lived in a tiny village, it was harmless fun...and I didn't want her to miss out on what I'd missed out on.
