morning, Friday already and the end of the working week for some of you. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?

My only plan is the usual routine. Drop kid off at school, fight my way through the traffic to work. Grab a latte and then don't stop to breathe until it's time to go home.

sounds like another busy day then, I have no plans other than a phone call to the local council about proofing / repairing the places where the mice are getting in, i doubt if i will get anywhere but you never know.

i will, but last time i got passed from one person to another, three different people all telling me they will get back to me, none have.

How are you though, and the house....

Well, we're still in the process of sorting the doors. We did order the bed for the spare room last night. At the time we were about to place the order the estimated delivery date was next Tuesday. Perfect, I work from home on Tuesdays. Once the order was placed and payment was taken the EDD was 06 October !!

OH has emailed them and said if they cannot deliver within the next 6 days, we'll cancel the order. I've got my mother coming up for her birthday next weekend and we were hoping to have the doors sorted and the bed all ready for her arrival.

Other than that, life is good, house is looking how we wanted it to and little one is really settling into school and loving it.

such is life i guess, things don't always go to plan, though that would annoy me to be told one thing and then not have it happen.

I hope you get the doors/bed sorted out in time for your mothers arrival, sure she will enjoy her birthday with you all.

Not as often as I would like, Emmie. She would move nearer me in a heartbeat but my dad is set in his ways and he usually gets what he wants.

Morning emmie. Today is 'National Sign Language' day. As I get older, people are beginning to point out that I'm becoming a bit mutton-Jeff. So I say long live the BSL foundation! My early morning jocular mood begs me to ask.. If a deaf person swears, does mother wash their hands thoroughly with soap?
