I see it as deliberate wordplay which mimics malapropism (or, occasionally, Spoonerism).

nah spoonerism is just swapping the initial sounds, eg Flutter By became Butter Fly

"Don't live to eat but eat to live" with two words exchanged is an example of chiasmus but your examples use only one of the phrases.

I was about to suggest chiasmus.
