Got some fettucine, LCG? - scallops, salmon with lemon, garlic and whatever herbs you can scrounge up i.e. thyme, tarragon, flat parsley - and if you have some spinach or kale, you can make a really good sauce
For this some melted butter in the pan and then put in lemon juice, minced garlic and chopped herbs. Scrape the bottom of the pan with a spatula to release flavour and then cook to get the garlic 'a point....'
Add a little milk or single cream, the pasta and greens and return the heat to medium; cook until greens are wilted. season and the scallops and salmon into the pan for a few seconds until. Add lots of fresh ground black pepper. A drizzle of olive oil and lemon zest and you are ready to go.
