Good Morning Early Birds

morning, Tuesday already, where do the days go... I hope that you are all as well as can be and that your day is a good one. Anyone have plans for today?

Well, it's 0008 here, so I guess it is good morning. I'm sitting here listening to some "golden oldies" on the radio and doing an on-line crossword. No great plans for today. Remember yesterday when I said we were expecting a lot of snow? We got a present of 2 feet of snow dumped upon us!

And today was supposed to be the first day back at school for the kids after many weeks of online education...So much for that plan:)

that's a shame, but i guess it's too much to expect them to wade through all that snow.

Well yes, seeing as the younger ones are only about 3 of 4 feet tall:)

so online learning it is, pity, but needs must.....

have you heard of Brantford, Ontario, i spent some time there in my much younger days,

I won't be going out until Wednesday, and by that time most of the clean-up will have been done. I've driven through Brantford years ago, but never actually been there. What were you doing there as it's hardly a holiday destination?

i went there to stay with friends, i had hoped to stay for good, but it didn't work out,

I see. It sounds like one of those many mini-adventures that we all experienced when we were much younger.

i was young and naïve, thinking i could make a relationship work, still i came home to a welcome from my family who were glad to have me back.

Fine thanks, back is still playing up so just got to watch what I am doing but used to it now.

i know the feeling, my knee is painful beyond words, i just don't know what to do about it. resting seems the only safe option, but once i have to get up the pain is back.
