Does anyone else remember when a full-moon was just that, a moon that was full with no strange descriptors preceding it?

mankind has always given names to the moons,goes back to cultures that had a lunar calendar. So you would think in terms of day five nights after the strawberry moon, or twenty days after the harvest moon for example. Then the Christians came along and added saints days etc

I literally thought there was a covering of snow on our rear garden lawn when I went to the toilet through the night , I had to go out and check , it was the moon making it silver , it was beautiful

The moon was stunning last night, very high up and shining brightly in the frosty sky. It's understandable to me why so many people love the moon, I certainly do !

I did too Sanmac. I stood for ages watching for animals but saw only a fox. It was magical. I was so disappointed to find the frost had disappeared this morning.
