morning, i hope you are all ok, and that your day is a good one. Does anyone have any exciting plans for today? I enjoyed my lunch with friends yesterday, and the sun shone for much of the day, which was pleasant, so we were able to sit outside.

no birdies up early to keep me company, oh well, must mean that you are sleeping or in some cases working already. I find this time quite peaceful, not much traffic about and very few people which makes for a quiet time.

Been up since 5.30 but laptop going slow. Maybe time for new one as I have had this for a good many years.

Got to go shopping later then grandson's birthday so we will go and see him for a little while.

that's what i had to do last year, buy a new laptop as i had the Dell Inspiron for 14 years. This is the same make, model as before. Works well and does a lot more than the old one.

my friends son is 12 going on 40, he is a very intelligent young man...

We have 6 grandchildren now so gets expensive for birthdays and christmas.

i bet it does get expensive. I rarely buy gifts now for family. they are mostly grown ups - i occasionally receive gifts on CD, which is my birthday..
