Today is official 'Eat food set aside for tomorrow' Day. The cheese and pate has already called me, the Pringles have softly spoken my name. I couldn't resist. Eat now!
Too late, you can't!
According to the supermarkets and media, Christmas started in late October and now it's time to prepare for Easter. Time flies.

I've been thinking this over and having looked at my Christmas food shopping lost there is nothing on it that I wouldn't buy at any other time of the year.
I'm not sure I understand the need to use Christmas as an excuse to eat differently to normal. As a child I remember my Mother would have a side table ladened with sweets, nuts and nibbles throughout Christmas, to this day I've never fathomed why!
I've already had 4 Christmas lunches this month. I had some neighbours in today for an open house between 11 -2 for mulled wine and mince pies and roast chestnuts. I've now cleared away all the mess and have another open house 6-7 tonight for champagne. I'll be throwing up later ! Ho ho ho...hic !
Sprouts! I hope they never invent smellyvision and apply it to the internet!
Are these Brussels things designed by the EU as a comment on our moaning I wonder.
Until I was 60 years, I thought the eventual "aroma" was just me! But when I declined them at a family Christmas dinner and admitted why, everyone laughed and sang "You'll Never Walk Alone".
