Question Numbers?

Sorry to appear thick but I've seen reference to Question numbers to answers given. Where/how do I find these question numbers, please?

maybe they meant number of letters in the answer. (5,7) for example. It also helps if you give any letters you already have

If you are asking a load of questions, best to number them for ease of matching a reply to your question.
If asking from a particular crossword you can say 13a etc
If from a particular quiz you can use the actual numbers of questions

I must be REALLY thick! Thank you for your answers baldric, grasscarp and sandyRoe, but its the number shown in factor-fiction's answer I'm on about. The Quizzes and Puzzles/Question 1356143. I've clicked on that number as suggested and it took me to my own question - but nowhere could I see that number.

To find your own questions click on your avatar and it will show the questions you have asked and questions you have answered, viewed etc

If you open any question- for example this one, the number appears in the tool bar at the top. At the moment as I type this it says
