maybe, I once took two years (though that was in the slack old days; I actually had paid them but they'd lost the cheque). Do they repay interest?
i got £800 from them lol
Not a solitary hope Dot.
Mrs Slapshot got rebates for 2006-2007 and 2007 - 2008, she's a happy camper!!
have you been asking for it back since the end of financial year?

I didn't know they owed it me red, it just arrived in the post on saturday and so it was a complete surprise, bit like a lottery win really!
Does the £100.76 include interest? If not, ask them for some......don't hold your breath though..

they are sending a 'breakdown' of their calculations in a seperate letter....total waste of postage but hey, we're paying the bills so I guess they can fritter away our money .
GOOD...cakes all round !!! I'll have a creamy doughnut please..!!

so if they hadnt told you, you wouldnt have known? sounds like a lovely surprise and nothing to do with how long theyd give anyone to pay them :)
havent seen you around for a while, hope your keeping well.nice to see you back.kate
redhelen, I think the frittering lies in sending two letters when one would have done. Why not include the workings with the cheque?
Think you're lucky? They just sent me one for £1200! : )
Different departments jno. One dept does the workings and another raisies cheques.
I guess so, Maidup, but it still seems like a scandalous waste of a 2nd-class stamp, which could have been spent on some deserving pensioner :-)
OH received a cheque from them for £26.85 today for the year 2007-2008.
Wonder if more will arrive for the following tax years.
...and , if respective governments hadn't kept on reducing staff numbers, you may have received it earlier!
