what is the very first 'housework you undertake in the day,i make my bed as soon as i get up;

I don't really do housework, my oh has taken over since my disability had gotten worse. I do actually miss doing it though and I hate having to sit and watch him as he tidies etc.

daffy i am disabled too and i am very limited to what i can do,i cant hoover or wash floors etc.but i can pack the dishwasher and washing machine,do some cooking and like you sit and watch and feel really guilty'

you make the bed?

I just pull the duvet up round me when I get in it at night.

Errr, first is a coffee same as amber stone up there, nowt gets done till ive had at least 2 cups.

It tends to be putting the washing on..........

I always air the bed for a while and then make it when I go back upstairs to get dressed after Mrs jth has gone to work.

Turn on Sky News, make a cuppa and read the newspapers on the laptop in bed.

I suppose mine is wash the shower screen after my shower, then make my bed,I then put the coffee on and get my B/fast. But like you Daffy my H does most of the H/work now.

My oh is not allowed near the washing machine at all Kate, he has no idea how to sort colours and whites.
I can load the washer while sitting down :)

oh thank God Steggy, thought i was on my own i n the "never making the bed" department. The only time it gets made is when it gets stripped, washed then remade.

I can't sort the bed out, the cat's usually in residence. I do fill up the dishwasher and put out any washing from the night before.

I only make mine because I would hate to think that any passing Vicars or psychologists would have me pegged as a slattern.....

I like to make the beds, its a nice fresh feeling when you go to bed and its all nicely made, the first housework I do is to pick up rubbish/washing up/washing and bin it/load dishwasher/load washing machine

I hardly do any housework to speak of - never clean the windows, that's what rain's for....

Kate & Daffy, *Snap* I do all the washing & ironing, load the D/washer (he unloads & puts away) I cook 6 nights a week either we go out or have a T/away on the 7th.I sit down to prepare. I do all my shopping on line, & put it away.
We go out in the car (he drives) my trusty mobile scooter always on board.
We do good.
