Sorry jackthehat but your answer is based on a guess and not fact, many bollywood movies that I watch are littered with the words "No" "Yes" "Goodmorning" "Hello" 'Bye" etc.. all of which are found in the many languages which fill India so please don't further try and drag Indians into an already backward stereotype. Simply because the Hindi language doesn't always have or allow for whatever is being shown or described.

However, it would be interesting to watch a British film and note how often Hindi and Urdu words pop up.
nice avatar Jack....that's one off the list
Funny that..................:o)
Why are they refered to as "bollywood" movies?
Because Bombay is the centre of the Indian film industry so the initial letter is substituted for the H in Hollywood.
The B in bolleywood is for Bombay although now that Bombay is Mumbai, maybe it should be Mollywood?

I can't imagine going into a restaurant and ordering Mumbai duck, nor Beijing duck for that matter.
You could always order a Chicken Chennai
Ok; thanks for the answers.

Thanks.

Apology accepted............if unnecessary.
oh bugger- i arrive just in time for a squabble and it fizzles out?

That's pathetic!

Gerron with it!

;-)
It'll end in tears Boo - they've been squabbling all afternoon (ok, bit of an exaggeration but they don't seem to get on).
I don't squabble...............well, perhaps just a little bit............but there is usually good reason............:o)
Really Sherr?

Well im here now, loaded up with goodies (skittles, mint imperials and a token nod at diet- sweet chilli rivetas) so squabble away Jack and whatsisface :-)
I wouldn't worry about it Boobies, one of them is clearly acting like a clown...
Ya think? True, Jack is from up north like me, but i think calling her a clown is a bit OTT CD!
If the shoe fits Boobies... And I'm sure I heard she has big feet...
