What with yogi eating them on Wednesday (?) and Mrs O eating them today, I've not seen any in the shops for ages.

Are they buying in bulk ?

What's happened to Wagon wheels? When I was a kid and used to go swimming at the local baths, when we came out we used to have one and a mug of cow and gate or Horlicks - they used to be the size of a pram wheel - now on Monday I was putting up lunch boxes for my three nieces and nephew at my sis-in-laws the other day and they are so small now!

lol anne :)

the milk ones make my tea too sweet (I don't take sugar, I'm sweet enough lol)
alba, nor do i take sugar in tea, i think you require more practice. it takes a long time and many biscuits to perfect the " time in tea ". oh rowan. thats hard core dunking.
Question Author
mercia, it's the same with curly-wurlies, crunchies and mars bars. The price is the only thing that has increased.

Anne, there's nothing worse than an over-dunked rich tea biscuit dropping into your tea before it gets to your mouth :)
very true alba. " there is nothing worse than a rich tea "...............mercia. wagon wheels are now rubbish, where did the chocolate go ?
Question Author
My son bought a wagon wheel mongths ago, never again he said, they're not what they used to be.

He's only 18 :)
my dad used to call them fly's cemetries, therefore I have never tasted them.
Aldi do a lovely bisciut called Oaties, bit like Hobnobs but nicer & cheaper.
I bought some Penguins on offer lately, they were Penguin wafers, not the same thing at all, and much more weeny.
Ive often commented on wagon wheels not being as big as they used to be. Hundreds of years ago when I was a lad and dinosaurs roamed the plains, Wagon Wheels were like flying saucers, now they are like buttons. Where is the justice!!!!!
