Thanks, particularly for the tree genus!
RH now complete, subject to positioning of MAB in either top right of RH or bottom left of LH. Does it matter?

Still having difficulty with three letter words for F and L

Can I assume that K2 is DURUKULA to fit in with TAMARAW?

If R 1 is RUMMER that doesn't fit in with URSULINE.

BY THE WAY HAVE YOU ANY IDEA ABOUT THE COMMON THEME IN THE ALPHAPET SECTION OF THE FT PUZZLE LAST SATURDAY??

Hi again slow 'n easy

1) MAB should be at bottom (LH) and FAL at top (RH) as each grid should contain only one word commencing with each individual letter ... (see preamble). I have to admit that I also overlooked this initially)

2) Other 3 letter word is LEW.

3) K2 is DURUKULI to fit with TIMARAU (alt. spelling)

4) R1 is ROEMER (another alt. spelling)

Again I initially had the same as you, and it held me up considerably.

Afraid I'm unable to help with the FT Puzzle as I don't have the grid.

Cheers (S)

These annual X-words are always challenging and full of answers with the most obscure words, many of which have alternative spellings and are unlikely to enter my lexicon!

My thanks to you and to Didimouse (alt. sp.)
