Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Not a question, but an observation: see last month's Generalist winner (Jonathan Crowther) is none other than Azed himself. Also that today's Independent winner is a regular to this site who has also recently won Generalist, the DT GK and the Spectator (Ulysses100 take another bow). Congratulations again.

I've been sending in entries for years and years and never won a sausage! I often wonder what method they use to choose the winner. Do they pick a postbag and chuck the rest? Do they open all the mail and sell our names on? etc etc. I would love to know. Any ideas?

i've been out since the early morning and have just caught up with your messages and to learn , on here, that i've won on the independent 9sorry, but my keyboard has suddenly stopped having the ability to do capitals or upper case 10.

i have just seen that i must have been the first pulled out of the hat for last week's crossword .........what a surprise.......after many many entries. thanks for your congratulations and best wishes.
