Hello everyone
Does anyone know how to access the Christmas Generalist Crossword?
I only sometimes have a go at the Generalist but like to try the Christmas one.
The download I found is in an impossibly small font and where it says 'How to enter' there follows no instructions whatsoever as to how to do this, just a description of the prize for the winner.
Is it still possible to submit them online? How does one do this ?
Alternatively, does anyone have a postal address?

Or does Prospect not really want non-subscribers to enter?
Thanks for your help.

M'lady - I can't help with the address I'm afraid but I've made a PDF of the puzzle as large as I can & keep it to one page - the clues are perhaps twice the size of the original.

Click the link below, then the small grey "Generalist Xmas.pdf". That downloads it to your machine, click that to open & print it - symbol, top-right. Hope it's of use & that someone else will be able to add the entry details :-)

Thank you very much, Your Maj.
That printed out beautifully and is much bigger...no need for the magnifying glass now.
You can see what I mean about eh 'How to enter' bit...
At least I can have the fun of doing it even though I might not be able to enter it...unless some other kind soul comes along with an address either email or snail mail.
Hope you're keeping well. I miss everyone on here, but this site just won't work for me most of the time now. Takes me ages to post anything then without warning it hangs up completely. Bah!
Pops in to wish Milady a Happy Christmas to one and all.xxx
Glad I could be of some assistance, m'lady. I'll have a dig round on Monday to see if I can find the address, in case no-one has replied with it by then.

May I take this opportunity to wish you, yours & all at the castle a Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year! :-))

Thanks, Mamya and the same to you.
Son and daughter in law are coming to us for Christmas so we are very excited here. Lordalex has even been looking out his kilt! (Don't worry, I'll hide it again. We don't want any repeats of the incident.)
Not sure when I'll be able to post on here again, so Season's Greetings to all the ABers.

Thank again , Your Maj.
And all the very best for the Festive Season to you and yours too!
Just to add, the Christmas crosswords by Didymus are always ingenious, and this one is certainly up to standard. How he manages to compose the outer message and form the puzzle within is incredible. Note: this year he does not give the initial letters but they are in alphabetic order. Have fun.
I phoned them this morning & the address I was given is -

Xmas Crossword
Prospect Magazine
800 Guillat Avenue
Kent Science Park
Sittingbourne
Kent
ME9 8GU

HTH & good luck to all entrants :-)
Or email to [email protected]
With all due respect to Lion King (and he merits plenty) : that address in Sittingbourne is that of their Subscriptions Agent.
The paper magazine says send it to the usual address : Crossword/Enigmas, Prospect, 2 Queen Anne's Gate, London, SW1H 9AA.
Good luck everyone
Oh, good grief!

Many thanks to whatsthat & kapple - the chap I spoke to made *NO* mention of that fact, nor of the email option.

Apologies to all & heigh-ho... :-)

Thank you so much to everyone.
I'm sorry to be so late in getting back to you all, but I've had a busy time as well as struggling with getting on to the site still.

Seasons Greetings to you all!

Sorry to be a pain , but does anyone know that closing date ?
As you can see from scorpiojo's link the online puzzle gives neither the address to send it to nor the closing date for entries.

Thanks again folks.

So sorry for being so late in replying, scorpiojo...thank you very much for that link.
Hope everyone has had a good Christmas and that you all have a very Happy (and healthy) New Year.
