if you mess with the question number on the link at the top of your screen you can see old questions which are dated. I can see questions back to 2001 - got bored so didnt find the first available one which was the plan when I started.

It started in 2001 - but the site has changed hands since then, so any stats will only go back as far as when the new owners took over.
