Saturday is here. A day for catching up on what's you've missed all week.

We'll be shopping and prepping for our Sunday lunch tomorrow with the in-laws and catching up on housework. An exciting day in-store for us!

Does anyone have any nice plans?

Whatever you're doing, have a lovely day.

Good morning Ladycg. Nothing planned here. I just want to get through the day.
Have already done the shopping but plenty of ironing to get done.
G'day you two.
Ironing, clothes?
That just highlights my wrinkles.

Morning Lady-J. How are you? There's a mound of ironing here too. I'll shall get Rutherford on to it later, after he's done the the breakfast and cleaned the cars.

The little one wanted to watch TV in our bed last night and then he fell asleep and neither of us had the heart to move him so he stayed in with us all night, taking it in turns to cuddle up to each of us. Best not make a habit of it though.

How's the weather down your way?

Morning, 1ozzy. How goes life down in the Antipodes? A little relief from the scorching heat would be welcome I daresay?

What's cooking at yours later?
Bless the little lad.
Haven't looked but the light has beenon in the lambing shed so looking forward to seeing them in the fields soon.

Morning oz. Yes I iron some outdoors clothes as I don't like looking a rag bag.
We have had some bright sunshine down here for the past three days even though it has rained heavily at night.
The heavy rain has been a problem for cess pits evidently and the emptiers of them.
It's a tad cooler than normal today, a welcome relief.
Should rain tomorrow, bring it on.

My clothes are stylishly wrinkled Ladyj ;-)

Oh I love seeing the little lambs. I saw one being born a few years back when I was in the Lake District on a walking holiday.

I think everything is flowing nicely now down under ;)

Ha! 1ozzy likes his fabric to be stylishly wavy. I'm sure you wear it well, Oz.
TMI ladyc ;-)
I would not expect anything else oz. Sartorial elegance at the cutting edge is how I imagine you.

There's a Barbara Hebworth exhibition on the Tate, St Ives that I woud like to see so might make tracks over there.

We had some really excellent steaks last night and delicious lobster tails. We had a bargain on both items, which made it taste even better.

If Windywillow happens to look in, the lobster tails in Farm Foods were well worth purchasing. They're wild Canadian lobster tails and every bit as tasty as what you'd buy at the Fishmonger.
I've not helped the man next door with lambing but did help with calving when he had probs once.
T shirts, shorts and in winter jeans or cargo pants and a jacket.
I will iron dress shirts and trousers if I need to attend a wedding, funeral or a christening, otherwise why bother?

We love walking around the art galleries in St Ives. The in-laws are going down there in July but we opted out again this year. We might go next year around our Anniversary time.

Do you think you'll be tempted to buy anything?
It was the way my mother put my hat on I suppose.
I'm so glad I've forgotten how my mother dressed me,

I love the pottery too in St Ives. Some of it is quite expensive.

There are one or two quite quirky shops on Fore Street I like to have a mooch in. We've had some nice photo frames and stuff from there.

Beers chilin' for later, Oz?
Unlike Oscar Wilde I shall resist temptation. I do want to buy another painting but will have to go to Newquay to buy that. There is a particular painter whose work I like lives there. I have four of his works but would like more.
I like Simon Carrolls pottery but his stuff is difficult to find now and I still need to glaze a jug he gave me in its raw state.
Nah, not today.
