Erratic Postal Deliveries

We only get ours about twice a week but in those two days a huge amount of post is in the outside letterbox especially given the time of year, I checked yesterday, nothing, I checked yesterday tea time, same and yet got up this morning and the box was full ,are our hard working posties working in the evenings too?

My deliveries have been erratic of late. I was surprised to get a delivery at 5pm on a Sunday evening!!!

Bobbs - RM are in dire straits - I have spoken to two post men - the majority of posties are all off with Covid? and the mail is not being delivered.

I said to my sister on Sunday - she said perhaps nobody is sending you anything LOL - she has a point tho.

My postie is definitely erotic. Compared with the cattle and sheep, which are what I normally see. A fit good-looking young man is erotic. Yes He does wear shorts. Nice legs I must add.

I rang up Royal Mail today to find out just what is going on with the lack of post in my area. After a 45 minute wait, I finally got to speak to someone ! I was told that it is due to 'sickness' (covid wasn't mentioned) and we can only expect one or two deliveries a week at the moment ! I asked why they hadn't recruited part time staff like they always do at Christmas and was told that I would have to speak to their recruitment department ! I have normally received several Christmas cards by now and am beginning to think I won't be getting any at this rate !! I can't remember the last time I saw a postman walking down my street. I don't remember this last Christmas ...

Spot on BS, I can’t recall seeing a postman for nearly two weeks now and with what they charge for stamps for cards that’ll be left till after Christmas in sorting offices, is daylight robbery x

I know, I'm not very happy Bobbs. A Christmas parcel I sent to a friend many weeks ago has STILL not been received and I'm really beginning to think she will not get it now in time for Christmas. I told the man I spoke to, that they are not fit for purpose, but I don't think he cared !!

I think postmen and shopworkers have been brilliant over the last twenty months. Perhaps they are testing positive, but not being ill, it might be RM rules that they can't deliver whilst they are positive.

20:09 Don't agree cashier, from my experience the service has been utter rubbish, particularly this month when parcels and cards aren't being delivered. I am expecting ANOTHER day without post today !
