Leonard Hofstadter:
Cats, Sheldon. You're clearly upset about Amy being gone, and you're trying to replace her with a bunch of cats.

Sheldon Cooper:
Clowder.

Leonard Hofstadter:
What?

Sheldon Cooper:
A group of cats is a clowder. Or a glaring.

Sheldon Cooper:
It's the kind of thing you ought to know now that we have one.

a company of cats must be an oxymoron in that the cats I know are very much loners..... at best, a pride or a Whiskas.
If the ones I have had in the past are anything to go by....always walking just in front of you, or darting across your path, or lurking on the stairs....then I think it should be 'a conspiracy of cats'

Lemurs and Meerkats have claimed 'Conspiracy'.
A CatCo!
Really?? Oh dear.
Perhaps they could share with a mere cat?
That would be fair, they could hold summit talks.
I'm with ferlew.

Or a "malevolence" of cats. Because you can tell that really they are humouring you whilst plotting to kill you.
Or a "manipulation" of cats.
A catalogue of cats perhaps.
