Wednesday. Still wall to wall cloud. I think summer has been cancelled for this year. I blame the government!

Not a lot to do today, at the moment, in fact nothing on the calendar until the 14th. I could get used to this!

Off to get my ears lowered this morning and then to finish off installing new door furniture. I'm so pleased at long last to have properly sharpened chisels I keep looking around the house to find things that need chiselling!

The Summer Walk at the hospice coming up on 14th. Always a good event and a good fundraiser. I'll be in my usual position,first road crossing Marshall.

Overcast here, not raining. I took a chance and put the washing on the line.

Morning all....a busy day yesterday with a visit from the agent to build up more of the history of the house and community around for the brochure blah - we're going fully live on the 20th.

Meanwhile the pantry is officially empty except for about 20 glasses .One more load of serving platters to go into the dishwasher, that has it's first load of the day already churning away - 6 loads yesterday

The cutlery and paraphernalia etc is already pulled out for sorting into silver and EPNS today. Will be doing a big Cancer Research drop this morning as well as to the dump later on with three bags of old steel pans. This afternoon the study beckons perhaps.
