anyone with a ring cutter..try phoning an A+E, but you will have to speak to someone higher than the average skool leva who is in charge of cas on sundays these days..

I wonder if the fire service might have cutting tools to help ? Not a 999 call , more of a 101 ! I hope you get it sorted soon.
As already suggested, phone A+E and ask them.
But yes, jewellers do cut off rings.

(Or at least they used to 'in the old days'.)

Mum, this video cli might help, especially as you probably don't want to damage you rings if you don't have too Media URL: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/good-to-share/10616509/How-to-remove-a-ring-stuck-on-your-finger.html
Description:
Trouble is there might not be many jewellers open for business on a Sunday.
What a brilliant tip! Hubby could have done that a few years ago, he had to have his ring cut off after knocking his finger and it swelled so much the ring was digging in and was so painful.

well nearly 6 months later I managed to get my rings off, don't know whether it is the cold or I lost a bit of weight or possibly a bit of both, have now had them made a size bigger to accommodate my porkies. Finger still not back to original size and Dr said it probably will never go back, but all ends well
