My lovely, friendly and so helpful neighbours have put their house on the market.....

I was tempted to start having wild, late night parties...let the garden go to pot and park lots of cars in the close to put off potential buyers.....

But I shall wish them well...their new neighbours will be so lucky to have them move in.....and you never know.....Stephen Fry might just be house hunting...... :-)

Oh, heck.
Always a shame when you loose good neighbours.
You are going to need to do some serious curtain twitching. If you don't like the look of them, have an argument with yourself and start throwing things about, whilst they're viewing.

I shall have to vet buyers carefully, Tilly.... ;-)

It is, Marvel.......they're the loveliest couple. Look after my house when I'm away and even cut the grass....I hope I've helped them from time to time too...x
doris fell in love with this house she saw for sale in northamptonshire and said she must have it ...

You could buy their house and become lady of the manor...
Isn't that sometimes the case? You tell yourself that you have a nice, settled life (including nice neighbours), and you sit back and breathe a sigh of contentment. Then something like this happens!
Question Author
You and Doris will be very welcome, Ael........round the bend in a few weeks......but welcome....x

No, Cupid.....a Lord may want to move in and that wouldn't do at all........ ;-)

I know, BB.......and even worse....it'll now make me the oldest person in the close..... :-(
Get sunny dave to put an offer in? Not only would there be someone MUCH older than you- but you cold also drive his car, more cheaply than he can... :-) xx

I think I'll make Pixie my new best friend... :-)
I wish one of my neighbours would sell up, she drives me to distraction, the other 7 are brilliant, I'd hate any of them to leave
:-) He's in his late 80s? Ten years older than you xx

But on second thoughts........ :-(

Shame when one spoils it, Ducksie....x

I made up on the little earner haha - I was thinking when I read that SD could move next door, save cash and move him in lol - if you had a nice fancy shed out back kind of accommodation, my post crossed with pixie's ha

Ducksie.....I have a nice little house....a nice little shed and nobody is moving in to either.....Lord just imagine......a person about the place getting in the way and on the nerves..... :-)
We've had three lots of new neighbours since we moved into our house. They have all been lovely but the couple in there now are the nicest and friendliest.

You might just be lucky and have a quiet retired couple moving in and not a family with young, noisy, running up and down the stairs children.
Same here gness ;)
//You and Doris will be very welcome, Ael//
i'll tell her she can pack her euphonium
I hope they're not my old neighbours, gness. They were a death metal band :-/
