Good Morning Early Birds!

Friday. Cloudy again. I reckon summer has cashed it's chips in now. Oh well, it was nice when we got bits of it.
If it doesn't rain I'll make a start on the back hedge, no burdies nesting in it now.
Himself is still out and about, so it isn't too cold.
Have a happy day everyone.

It's not raining here...yet. But I think it's going to, I've said I'll tackle the back hedge, so it's bound to!
How are you both this morning? balders how are the dynamic duo?
I had that problem with the car alarm, it turned out to be a moth that had got in trying to get out. Just a thought mate.

All good here wbm thanks, got through yesterday with flying colours, got next years appointment so they're obviously expecting me to make it.
The Dynamic Duo are just fine, and from where I'm sitting at the moment they could set up a GB Snoring Team, and probably win.
I didn't realise what poor old Roger had to put up with in the kitchen overnight.
and I'm in trouble if they see that ;o)
I'm in fair nick thanks OG. Still breathing anyway. :o}
balders that's good result mate. They have confidence in you. :o}
You're chancing your luck posting that mate. I'll take it down if you like! ;o}
May I ask when you were a bootneck? My eldest brother was one also. You never know, maybe you knew him.

I understand that mate. It's essential in front line regiments of all three services. That's one reason we have the most efficient armed forces in the world. I think it's only two years since the end of WW II that our forces have not been in action somewhere in the world.
Tat level of fitness has pulled my through too. Twice in the recent past. Vera was told to expect the worst. She just looked at the doctor and said 'You don't know him do you!'

went to concert last night with mum ...very good and my ears are still ringing..but drama on way up ..came across a nasty car crash on the way .in middle of nowhere .a van with engine on the road, man wandering around road, car upside own with bleeding woman hanging from window in field...stopped and grabbed first aid kit..got the man sitting down ..managed to get woman away from wreckage which was leaking petrol ...bleeding profusely....quick check over and her neck etc seemed ok could wiggle fingers and toes...applied a tourniquet and had her lie down while I elevated arm..think she had cut some main vein somewhere under arm...was able to talk..meanwhile another lady stopped and I had her hold the head still just incase..while we waited for ambulance...took 35 mins to arrive as we were in middle of nowhere..fire engine police ambulance ..whole caboodle..my arms were killing me other lady could no longer feel her legs from her position so they arrived in good time lest there were 2 more to go....arrive at mum bedraggled from hay field and blood spattered ! will phone the casualty later today..we found her mobile in the wreckage phoned someone in her contacts and gave phone to ambulance peeps....was travelling to Dudley..what a mess both write offs..could have been much worse but for seat belts and air bags ... and a first aid kit with a bit of knowledge....
