Friday. Cloudy again. I reckon summer has cashed it's chips in now. Oh well, it was nice when we got bits of it.

If it doesn't rain I'll make a start on the back hedge, no burdies nesting in it now.

Himself is still out and about, so it isn't too cold.

Have a happy day everyone.

Ah morning.
Chucking it down here already.
Well had some warm days recently, and I forgot to water the plants again last night, so just as well.

'morning wbm, early start again, car alarm going off on Mrs B's new motor, thought I'd better go and have a check around, all ok by look of it, so just having a quick drink before I go back to bed.

Morning OG and balders.

It's not raining here...yet. But I think it's going to, I've said I'll tackle the back hedge, so it's bound to!

How are you both this morning? balders how are the dynamic duo?

I had that problem with the car alarm, it turned out to be a moth that had got in trying to get out. Just a thought mate.
I'm not so bad, except for being awake in the middle of the night.
Yourself ?

All good here wbm thanks, got through yesterday with flying colours, got next years appointment so they're obviously expecting me to make it.
The Dynamic Duo are just fine, and from where I'm sitting at the moment they could set up a GB Snoring Team, and probably win.
I didn't realise what poor old Roger had to put up with in the kitchen overnight.
and I'm in trouble if they see that ;o)

I'm in fair nick thanks OG. Still breathing anyway. :o}

balders that's good result mate. They have confidence in you. :o}

You're chancing your luck posting that mate. I'll take it down if you like! ;o}

May I ask when you were a bootneck? My eldest brother was one also. You never know, maybe you knew him.

Early '70's thru to late 80's when I 'Crashed out' due to a serious RTC, I was told if it wasn't for the level of fitness I had at the time I most likely wouldn't have made it, but hey ho, these things happen.
PS, leave the previous post please, I like a bit of excitement in my life.
Question Author
No prob mate. I thought you'd say that! ;o}

You may have met him. I'll email you later.

I was Royal Artillery, 60's into the 70's. My brother was in Singapore at the same time I was in Malacca, Malaysia. We had some fun!

/// if it wasn't for the level of fitness I had at the time /// that was probably the most motivational thing I was ever told. I've kind of lived by it ever since and it's payed dividends over time.

I understand that mate. It's essential in front line regiments of all three services. That's one reason we have the most efficient armed forces in the world. I think it's only two years since the end of WW II that our forces have not been in action somewhere in the world.

Tat level of fitness has pulled my through too. Twice in the recent past. Vera was told to expect the worst. She just looked at the doctor and said 'You don't know him do you!'
Question Author
Tat? Who nicked me H?

Look out, Look out, there's a hief about!

They've doneit ^^^^^ again ;o)
Question Author
Can't get the staff, can you! ;o}

Seeing as it's only 6 of the clock, I'm going back to bed for a hour or so, Rogers just wandered in from the garden so he's ok. Now was it the right or left hand door?

(or through the round window?)
morning Boaty xx OG XX Balders xx
