I went out this morning and whilst i was clearing the 4 inches of snow off the bonnet of the car, I spotted that some little oink had written something in black marker pen on it!!!! Seeing as it wasn't there yesterday morning when i left for work at 8.30, and seeing as the car was parked off the road in the drive behind gates from 7pm last night til I went out this morning, and seeing as the snow had settled over the writing, i have deduced that it was done between the hours of 11am and 4.45pm yesterday whilst i was at work and the car was parked on the carpark in front of the store!!!! I can't tell what the word says and I don't know what to use to remove it, it looks like just black swirls now, but it's worrying!!! I've tried ringing the site security office today but noone answered. Am I insured for this on my car insurance policy at all?

hi dot! kids eh?? (i;m assuming it's kids)
maybe you'll find something helpful to remove stain from here -
http://answers.yahoo....20080823185424AA1TEhc
yes, you can have the crown!

if you're fully comp you're probably covered, minus your excess.
try going over the ink with a dry wipe marker pen and wiping the stain away straight away before the dry wipe has time to dry
grab the CCTV evidence.

Some bu££er drove past me so fast, he hit my wing mirror. Later I discovered the back of the wing mirror missing.....have searched the piece of road to no avail. There's another cost I didn't cause.

Knono, why did you write on Dot's car? :-) Defacing another person's property is a serious crime.
That's awful, Dot. People today seem to have no respect for others or their property.
Wanton vandalism - rotten for you Dot. I have used brasso on cheesecloth in a circular motion to eradicate paint marks off my car. Just apply the brasso to small areas at a time. This has a very slight abrasive action - not harmful to the general paintwork, but has been used in the motor trade to remove orange peel effect from badly resprayed panels. Good luck.
Och thats rotten dot. I don't think that they'll give you the CCTV but if you report it to the police they'll probably investigate. I dont know much about car insurance either. not much help am I lol. Hope you get it sorted.
that's not nice dot......you watch ITV now and tell me how awful it is.......

why cos someone randomly wrote swear words on my car? Good hob my grandson didn'e see it, i only discovered it this morning and when i took him to his dad's at lunchtime i made sure he didn't go near it, I've managed to remove it with some anti-bacterial spray and so it must have been l a cheap black matker pen. Little gits.

Actually i understand your point now craft, curiosity made me put TV on, I never feel guilt at being angry over the small things, we can change those craft, the big things you have to leave to the man upstairs.

Like I said Zac, we all worry about things we can't change, I can do something about this, I will kick up a stink at the site and make sure the security are more aware of what happens under their nose, i can't save lives or stip wars, aim small miss small i say.
