Hi ruthann. I don't sleep well at the best of times (chronic insomnia) but getting up at 5.15 is not fun! I don't know how you do it every day.lol
Oh well,off I go to iron work and school shirts and make packed lunches. :-)

Hi alba,i'm still the only one awake in our house.The oh will be up at 7.00 and son at 8.00,we live 5 minutes walk from the school so he doesn't have to get up too early.
I hope your son enjoys his work placement.

the peace and quiet of being the only one up can be nice at times. The work placement thingy is every Wednesday, college for the rest of the week (apart from a Thursday when he gets the day off!!) He quite enjoys it, usually something different each Wed.

Hello peoples. Up and early this morning - heating ON!!!!! Daughter unable to turn it off last night as was in Sheffield, having paid a fortune to see Ricky Gervais - so I put it up toast-HIGH.....
Don't like the cold me :-(

Hi salla,I don't like the cold either but I can't sleep with the heating on,I wake up with a headache if I forget to turn it off.
alba,it has been peaceful in our house....unfortunately we live in a mid terrace.....so all the noise the neighbours make means it is somewhat less than peaceful most of the time.lol

oooh daffy don't do that. It's tempting I know,
we're in a mid-terrace too. One side is fine but the other side don't know how to shut their front door quietly nor go up and down stairs quietly either.
