I could just cry now but I can't I'm at work. Colleague doesn't turn up until 9.40 and should start at 9. He does let me go early sometimes but still. Have to make the tea and do the washing up, nothing else to do here. I'm so fed up!! I just want to quit now!!

Fed up with house share too.

Look on the bright side. At least you get to go on the internet.
Question Author
Theres nothing to do on the internet though apart from spend money I haven't got or moan on here.

I've played so many point and click games that I'm even bored of them now
Look on the bright side as well, you are in a job and getting paid to make cups of tea. It is very hard when you are unemployed believe me , you have much more to be fed up about then.
Question Author
I know its hard being unemployed I've been there and been on JSA. But I don't think people understand how bloody trapped you feel and how horrible it is to be sat at a desk with nothing to do 9-5 mon - fri for the past 5 years
Don't get depressed at least you are one of the lucky ones .You have a job. Just keep yourself straight and one day you could own your own house instead of sharing. Just takes time. All the best to you it is hard nowadays.
angel...how old are you and what qualifications have you got?
Question Author
I'm 21

I just want to cry to be honest.

I could only own a home if I found friends or partner. I haven't any friends and its hard to make them. I don't know what clubs to join to make friends I'm not interested in anything. I'm not sporty.

I'm on the verge of crying, in fact my eyes are red and my nose is runny and I can't let my colleague see

Feels like I won't be happy for about ten yrs when hopefully I will finally have made some friends, will have been on deal or no deal and won some money and have my own place and a bf and a nice job.
Angel........that is only half of my questions answered.......what qualifications have you got?
Question Author
I've got GCSE's, sage accounting level 1, nvq level 2 business admin
Any chance of going to University to do Business Studies or something similar?
You could go self employed. That's what I use to do. Book keeping for small businesses....
Question Author
Don't know. Is business studies degree worth it? Or would I be able to get just as well paid a job if I didn't go? Would it be worth getting into debt for?

Mind you maybe it isn't a bad idea
Question Author
Ummm how do you go about doing that?
Well paid job.....but bored?

Less well paid job.......fullfilled?

I know which I would go for.
Question Author
I'm not entirely sure which I would go for. If this job was well paid then I could probably put up with it if it paid enough to buy me a house and a brand new car etc. But I know money isn't everything and it would be nice to have job satisfaction too.

What course would I need to do to go self employed ummm? I could get on a book keeping course easy enough
Cannot you leave and do something temporary, like working in a supermarket whilst you look for something better.

There is nothing worst than being in a job you hate as once I was transferred to a department and hated the job, so much that when I came home I was crying and hitting the bottle. I soon transferred back.

My boss just came in and said have I got a cold cus I'm all red eyed and sniffly.
