I've been suffering fly tipping outside my house for at least 6 months, and have come home a bit ****** tonight determined to sort it. I've been through the bin bags and got envelopes with the culprits name on it. Aside from the obvious council call, I'm thinking that I'm going to sign him up for about a ton of postal spam every day. Justified?

I think it's the wrong night for me to be on here...What's fly tipping???
Question Author
The starred out word was a euphamism for being a bit drunk....
Question Author
Max - People leaving bin bags (and worse) or rubbish outside of your house rather than sort it out themselves
Why on earth would people do that??? Do they have a grudge against you?
Question Author
No grudge (I've never met them), some people are just really lazy and can't be bothered to follow the new recycling instructions. So after dark they just dump their rubbish outside people's houses, one of which is mine. We live right on the main road, so it's on the pavement, and it's ridiculously annoying (and disgusting).
It is! Ugh. I'd write to the Council and send them the addresses you've salvaged from the bags. Let them deal with it.
Question Author
Believe me, the council will find out. But first, a little personal revenge. Any good ideas?
Put the most horrendous bit of their rubbish through their letterboxes in the middle of the night?
Question Author
I'm 1 incontinence catalogue in...

I'll leave the rubbish to err on the side of safety...
can you prove the envelopes with the names on originate from the same person who dumped the bags?
Question Author
Unless the person who dumped the bags cunnigly went through someone else's bins and wrapped up envelopes from them in their own rubbish, then I think it's unlikely.

My new best friend is the 'Tick here if you would like to receive additional information from our partners' box.

Tick tick tick
Still think giving them their own rubbish back would be more of a sign!
I would Supernick. Sign him up for everything from Tena Lady free incontinent pad sample to various gay porn. Order loads of stuff from mail order companies for him too.

Saying that, you might find it all dumped outside your house again.
Put an anonymous letter through the door then - warning that if they don't stop dumping their rubbish, the council'll be notified. Start it off as: "WE have noticed......." and they'll thinbk that more than one person's onto them, or even seen them fly tipping.
i think it is really unfair on the companies involved to send for spam, it is a waste of theif resources, and at the risk of being too pc it is not environmentally friendly either. Just go and scream at him cos you are frustrated at your reallycr@ppy Saturday night on AB
Question Author
I'm almost happy to see it dumped outside again. I've got a name to complain about noe, so the council has to do something. In the meantime, he can get spammed to death, and even after he's been threatened by the council, he'll have to deal with waves and waves of crap each day. Brilliant
glad to think you have scored a victory. Now all you need is a hobby to enjoy yourself with on a Saturday after the pubs shut!
LOL @ cherry!!
Question Author
