Hey guy

Sorry if this is the wrong category

I have no wheelie bin in my street and so have been putting my rubbish out on the street in black bags
I have today received a letter from my local council stating that I'm under investigation for fly tipping...and that while they are aware there is nowhere to store a wheelie bin I should have apparently been using special purple bags (I have never been provided with these and have now phoned to request them) anywaysim totally stressed out about getting a fine or something, I have emailed the lady at the council and explained it was a genuine mistake but I know she won't read it or reply till tomorrow, just wondered if anyone else has had this? I need reaasurance!!!

If you've never been informed (until now) about the correct purple bin bags, or been supplied with any, how can you be guilty of doing anything wrong?

Bloody numpty Councils...

Thank you! I had thought the same, I just figured, no wheelie bins so I will buy black bags and put them out instead... I have explained in my email that it was a genuine mistake and that I was unaware of the purple bags! I just hate letters like that!! It talks about prosecution and now I have images of being thrown in jail!!
Well... if you do get thrown in Jail can I have your purple bin bags? ;-)
