Changed my bedsheets.
Got me thinking, How often do you change your bedsheets. If often, how do you cope?

I do mine weekly, its more of a routine rather than whether they need it.
I feel awful admitting this, but no one knows me so it doesn't matter. I sometimes go about a month without changing them :-( It's the teenage kids ones that I forget about as I can't face going into their rooms very often so the beds get overlooked !!
Aren't I awful ???

Weekly? Ugh, you put me to shame.
I couldn't be bothered to do anything that often, let alone bedsheets ;)
I don't actually sleep in a bed. I have emphysema and can't breathe if I lie flat so I sleep on a recliner chair in the lounge much to the annoyance of my fiance. I have a sheet that I put on the chair that gets washed twice a week along with my quilt cover and pillowcases.
I dont mind changing the bedding, its washing it all thats the bu$$er!!,(5 beds worth) you get used to doing it so it doesnt become a big deal, you just do it on auto.

Don't be ashamed, or at least that ashamed, I probably do mine about once a month. Although I seem to be tidying endlessly. But whenever I seem to do anything I just blame my partner =P
Theres a mountain of his clothes at the end of the bed, a lovely surprise for when he gets home. Not that he'll actually care or do anything about it. He probably won't even notice them!

Last post was to juilius by the wayy.
And yeah I guess it would. And you have lucky kids. My mother would tell me to ****** off and do it myself.
I have found that most men will quite happily live in squallor.. :)

Wow daffy, gosh.
That must be difficult, and for your fiance too. I wouldn't like sleeping without my partner : (

Yes, I noticed that too. One day I'd love to come home to a perfectly clean house, and him with a feather duster and a pinny. ahahaha

Every Sunday evening... just after my boyfriend's gone home ;)
I don't know where all my washing comes from. Hubby works away all week (hgv driver), daughter in school uniform and son in suit for work but there seems to be a mountain of washing every day. I then take it upstairs and tell kids to put it away properly only to later discover they have just chucked it in the bottom of their wardrobes. Why do we bother ?
I didnt see that daffy, that must be uncomfortable at times? not to mention mundane (if you have been sitting in the same chair in the evening, I had a similar thing(confined to sleeping in a chair not emphysema!) when my back went about a year ago, I was sick to death of being in the same position, I was itching to lie flat and stretch.

I know what you mean jillius!, especially if its all nicely ironed!!

choc, the only way I know I will come back to a clean house is if I cleaned it before I left :S
Mine get done when H goes away as well -then they get febrezed 10 days later -well its only me that sleeps in the bed for the time he's away -lol
I don't mind sleeping in a chair really,i've been sleeping in the sitting position for so many years now its just natural to me. I am after one of those adjustable beds but they are really expensive and I can't afford one at the moment.

Every 3-4 weeks. I changed them more when my partner worked nights, as there was someone using the bed for three quarters of the day at least!

I hate changing them, couldn't be done with doing it weekly. Enough to do, with only 2 of us, and a small dog, in small house. Couldn't imagine having kids to run around after too!
