Still in London!!

after a day in meetings, I travelled to Heathrow only to have my flight cancelled at 8pm! They would not book me a hotel and only gave me a £10 voucher towards sundries!!

needless to say a very long complaint will be going in!

I eventually got a flight booked leaving early ish in the morning from an airport on the other side of London and managed to get a hotel, the same one I left 20 hours previously!!

anyhoo I will be home by 11 this morning

Just watching the morning shows and they briefly covered the junior doctors strike.

met one at the airport yesterday and she is emigrating to NZ who are paying all her and her partner costs, salary will be considerably more than the U.K.

she told me a lot of her friends have had offers from NZ, Australia, USA and Canada!

I wonder how many will go.

I hope you manage to get home at a reasonable time. Travelling is tiring, I get weepy when I'm tired. I would have thrown a wobbly when told of the cancelled flight.

I got up for a pee but decided to also have some breakfast. Its still far too early so I will go back to sleep.
