And it's actually a chlly/cool one here.
Looking at the next few days of heat, there's more breezy-ness predicted. Hopefully enough to take the edge off the pain of hot!,hot!,hot!
How is it your way?

We might sit out in the back garden this evening, with a glass or two, but until then we're keeping out of the way of the sun. Good job it's millions of miles away, and not thousands!

East Riding of Yorkshire - so also 'up North'. It's pleasant here. A nice cooling wind, I wore a light jacket for the morning dog-walk. Found myself shivering this aft., so I turned the fan off. I've spent the last few days ensuring that the house has cooled down nicely in preparation for any heatwave.
Yesterday it poured down for most of the day. We and the dog are nicely cool - if not downright cold at times!

Cool to very cool here. Not had a lot of warmth all week, rained yesterday. The days largely have been dull till about five when the sun put in an appearance. Fed up of all the talk about 'the heatwave'. Istill call it summer. We all know what to do if very hot, don't open windows and close curtains, drink plenty and don't attempt a half marathon.
^^^ Ooh! A mention of Cleethorpes!
I've got fond memories of the town as, when I lived in Sheffield, it was probably the easiest seaside place to reach by rail for a day trip. On arrival it always looked really grotty (as the area around the station certainly isn't that wonderful) but a walk to the south, past the (now demolished) Winter Gardens, was always a delight.
