morning, Sunday already, time certainly flies by, i hope that you are as well as can be, and that your day is a pleasant one, do you have any plans for today? I have a weekly call from my friend in NI at 10.00am, then will see how the day pans out, though the weather forecast is poor a high of 16c in the capital, with partly sunny skies.

The day started at -1 managed to reach 13, decidedly chilly and it'll only get colder over the next few months.

morning 1ozzy, i'm not too bad, though could do with not waking so early but that's life.

Morning, Emmie. It's going to be 23 and sunny today, the same as Saturday. My sister and niece came up today and we sat on the balcony for about 3 hours soaking up beer, sunshine, and vitamin D. I have a large storage box on the balcony full of things like gnomes, frogs, sun-dials, etc, etc that my wife used to adorn the balcony with every year. I told them to help themselves to anything they wanted, and they took quite a few items and will be back for more next week. So now all those things have a new home, which is good.

Wish my bladder would let me sleep beyond 3-30-4:00 am.
Such is life when one is ageing ;-/

i am over half way with Knots and Crosses, it's good and quite an easy read, maybe i will buy some more after all.

"Knots and Crosses" was Rankin's first novel, as you know. As he progresses with his writing his plots become more convoluted and they are all great reads.

they are cheap enough on e bay, so i will likely buy some more when i have finished this one.

got loads done in the garden yesterday. It remained dry if very threatening at times..looking rather gloomy right now...

we have a bright blue sky at the moment, yesterday started out the same way, but clouded over and was quite cool for this time of the year.
