If it is the hygienist (look away now all mard arisses) they are not allowed to use the high pressure water jet to clean. They use hammers and chisels and those stainless steel spikes..... The bonus is that there is no mouthwash in case you splash the staff with blood. (⊙_⊙)

Eh! My internet cut out while posting, didnt think that^ had posted.

Anyway, got a call from dentist today and faced a thousand and one questions pre check-up.
Rather weird...
Apart from the usual Covid questions,
got asked if i use a shish pipe,
EH?

Went for my checkup a couple of weeks ago - a bit of a rigmarole on entry etc but not really much of a problem and at least there was no waiting.

I got a text from my dentist this week to say that they are only dealing with emergencies at the moment so no check up for me just yet.

I've had three cancelled so far, April, July and October. After the last cancellation I was told to ring in the New year to make a new appointment.

I got a phone call today giving us both appointments in January. Did see the Hygienist in September, everything one done by hand tools, but was able to use mouthwash, just had to spit into a paper cup so there was no splash.

Seen the hygienist once, and the dentist once since mid Sept. See the hygienist again 15th Dec. We are in a dental plan and have a monthly standing order for it. In August I emailed to enquire whether we would be getting a rebate considering the lack of service and we both had appointments confirmed within the week. National Health? Give over.
