Good Morning Early Birds!
37 Answers
Friday. The sky is clear and we will have another sunny day. It's chilly outside though.
I spent some time yesterday sitting out the back with a glass of wine and a book, but spent most of the time watching the bird mums and dads teaching their wee ones how to feed themselves. Couldn't write comedy like it! :o} The little ones kept fluttering their wings with their beaks open asking to be fed, could almost hear the mums and dads sighing! Great fun.
Nothing on the calendar for today, so may go out somewhere.
Have a happy day everyone.

Anyway, I put out a bird feeder because I wanted to see the goldfinches that my dad gets, but I’m only attracting crows, magpies and a huge pigeon that sits on top of the feeder waiting for whatever gets spilt.

Morning all - from a sunny Oxfordshire not that far from Abingdon.
A lovely long lunch with these Uni mates and a lot of laughs - we then staggered from the Trout in Godstow for 2 miles down the Thames to the Perch for tea, yes tea, and then walked back....dropped off 2 of them at Didcot station and back here for a good supper of fresh asparagus, a flan and salad, cheese and strawbs.
Now it's on to Leeds, taking my godson into work as all the cars here are seemingly dying - in fact, yesterday, R's car almost went on the way to the station - it did get us back to his house here and then we took mine....one more reason for sniffing tiffin at the Perch....
