Just listened to Jezza's response to the PM, he's bang on, this is a bungled and botched deal. We have screwed it right up. From a position where we should have had a good hand to play to this disaster. As much as I hate COB Labour and all they stand for, it seems we must rely on them to stop this disaster making it through the house and ensuring we leave with no deal.

I know emmie, I know!
/// As much as I hate ///

Hate seems to predominate society these days - a very sad state of affairs.
I feel you're looking to the wrong place for help leaving with No Deal, but I agree that he is saying the right things -- and Theresa May is not.
"We have screwed it right up."

Yeahh..? "we.."???
we being Mrs May and her party.

jim, all I'm saying is that if this is not approved by parliament then we'll have no deal. Labour and others look set to vote against QED, no deal.
It depends on what Parliament does and says: it is not yet impossible that Parliament prefers no Brexit, or Ref2, to No Deal.
no Brexit would be a huge betrayal of all those who voted leave.
If Parliament unilaterally decided not to deliver Brexit, then yes, I can accept that -- although the argument would be that the alternative was worse, because in the short term at least it certainly will be. This deal takes back no control, but rather hands it all over.

If, however ,the people are asked to vote again, then the only way that the decision can be overturned is if the people wish it. How then can they be betrayed?
if we had another Referendum and the vote was still leave where would that leave us
Watched sky news earlier hilary Benn was talking and he made a lot of sense this whole situation is a farce and has been from day one!
However each of us voted we can all recognise a debacle.
It's so, so easy to be critical when you are not in power......

jim 11:17, but surely they'd have to create and pass a "no brexit" bill. Not passing this deal has no effect on leaving the EU as it stands.
Arrods, but we aren't in power, the electorate is being made fools of. We pay politicians to make the right decisions on our behalf, if they mess it up, we pay the price, not them.
did you mean Corbyn?
What I meant was that it's easy for anyone - and I mean anyone - to say the 'right things' from the side-lines.
that is why we have elected politicians,to make the best deal possible on our behalf. This is no deal at all, but a half baked hot potato.
You've lost the plot TTT.
