Monday. A lovely day yesterday. It's the first time I've had lunch in a church! A lovely lunch it was too. I had a good natter with one of the vicars who was sitting opposite me. He and his wife were interesting company, they wanted to know about the badge on my blazer, I wore the 3RHA one. My mate and I sloped off to the pub just outside the church grounds for a couple of pints. A most enjoyable day.
I'm being lumbered with the wee white tornado for a couple of days today. Can't wait! :o}

I was going to do some running about today, that's on hold for a few days.

Not today old mate, turned the snags into something else last night.

Whole beef eye fillet, quickly seared on the barbie then wrapped in foil and slow roasted with scallop potatoes and steamed veg tonight.

Guess I'd better make some gravy too.
