Just wondering if you are doing the worlds hardest crossword as published in the Daily Mail and Daily Express today. The compiler says it could take up to two years to finish. So far I have answered two clues!

A few on here have finished it and some have won a copy of the prize, have only had a cursory run through.
Chico does not do cryptic as a rule, as far as I am aware.

Been out all day, only just come on here so didn't see that post.
Thanks for the info Mamya.
>>> Chico does not do cryptic as a rule, as far as I am aware

. . . because Chico's little grey cells don't seem to function in the right way!

I reckon that Dannyk13 could do it in under 10 minutes though ;-)
Have the Daily Mail and Daily Express not heard of The Listener crossword?!
I briefly glanced at it and got one answer straight away. However, life is too short to persevere. I have been doing cryptic crosswords for 40 years until I became thoroughly bored. The same with Sudoku. I was fixated on the Times Fiendish until I realised that once you've done one you've done them all.

I do about 5/6 puzzles a day and maybe 2 sudokus.
I've had another look at this hardest puzzle but can't answer any more than the two. I'm not prepared to waste two years on it so it is going in the bin!
I normally go to the pub on Saturday to do the prize. I showed my wife that this one could take 2 years so I will be back when I have done it. Shes changed the locks!!
It won't take you long once you get going, the setter was not very pleased with the 'Impossible' tagline.

That's publishers for you.

It's tough but very doable.
