Teen Smows Gcse Results.....

For my wonderful friends on here who have been so supportive the last few weeks with my upset on him deciding to live at his dad's and not come home - Well he arrived here at 9am today - we had a chat and he still wasn't budging, so after lots of tears we went to the school at 10am. All his mates were ripping their envelopes open right away but he kept his till we got home. The relief on his face when he opened it I will treasure. He passed all 11 GCSEs - one distinction,two A's, four B's and four C's.

Sorry ummmm! Yes I'm incredibly proud - his face when he opened the envelope was a picture! Even thr ones he was convinced he'd failed in like music - he got a B in and music is so hard.

well done, the mini smowball....so what's he going to do for As?

we had elation in one house for As, A*A and B to a non-conditional place because of her sporting ability - full England wider squad and Nof E in two sports (and a degree in sports psychology) and then the fan hit the other house (my wee sis on the ceiling apparently). The elder one, same subjects a B, D and U but she has a place at Uni (a minor one) but close to the national HQ for her England sqad work in a totally different sport. However, her younger brother - who should be As/A mucked his ASs up because of 17 year old laziness and arrogance and ended up with B,C, 2 Ds and a U....not easy but they have a route forward now...
