Well at least now the smaller fireworks displays can go ahead not having to worry about health and safety worries.
Yes, except that a number of them will have cancelled their events by now (having been told their insurance cover was void in the event of a strike by firefighters) and there is insufficient time for them to rearrange their displays.
it is also forcast to Pi55 down so they probably wouldn't be missed so much anyway.
