yep according to www.chavscum.co.uk. they are "off the bloody scale"

That link reads: Forbidden cannot enter site.

The link works OK for me!

Maybe the new kid was conceived on an cruise liner, either that or they couldn't spell Tom Cruise's surname correctly!

Or conceived in Santa Cruz?
Or David had an affair with Penelope Cruz?
or maybe they're just idiots?
I'm in an unusually charitable mood. What have the Beckhams done to offend anyone here?
Is it OK to think ill of them just because they're in the public eye?

The link works fine for me.....

I, for one, get bored of hearing the Beckham's being slagged off all the time for spending the money they have earned (whether you agree with how it has been earned or not).  Do we not have anything better to do than waste time being negative about a couple we will never meet or change?  Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things what they wear and what their children are called, or why?

It is entirely their choice of name for their child, would you listen to them if they laughed at your child's name?

I think the biggest 'chavs' are the ones that use the term, it's derrogatory, sad and shows the lack of vocabulary (note I'm not implying that I am any better regarding laguage and vocab).  I think even David Beckham could think of a better insult than that!

Oh, and apparently Cruz is Spanish for 'Cross', and is a common girls name - so get your knives out and start slagging them for that now......

Stevie21 - personally, I only like traditional names.

Also, when naming a 'baby', you should consider it  growing up & into an adult.

I shall never forget in the early sixties, peeping into a pram & congratulating a neighbour on her beautiful little baby boy. When I asked what they'd named him, she rather embassingly replied " Elvis". This baby grew into a teenager, who then changed his name by deed poll - why - because he could no longer live with the ridicule. Say no more!

But then again - everyone to their own.

Natalie_1982: is it not hard to type with all those gold sovereign rings?

Just think of the poor kid going to school with a spanish girl's name. Don't these people think of the consequences?

You are right, we never meet these people but, due to the media attention, they have effected many parts of our lives from what the "ideal" woman is to look like down to changing names for parts of the body. Forever now, the metetarsal bone in the foot will be called the Beckham bone.

The Beckhams seem to have a lot of time for their kids and surely love them to bits.Hopefully this love will extend to getting them a very good education, maybe at a top school, and this will help to beat the chavness off future generations of the beckhams

Sorry but I'm with natalie - and generally people that slag off the beckhams are jealous of them! He's got shedloads of money for erm playing football, which isn't his fault, and she's got shedloads for being part of the biggest selling girl band of all time - can you blame her for that. Whilst she has little singing talent she's a shrewd business woman and should be given credit for that, and for raising three children while trying to have a career. I don't like people slagging off VB, her husband's had (numerous??) affairs, she's trying to bring up her three sons, continue her career, and been forced to move to spain becuase of her husband's job but decided to have some time at home and got slated for it.  Biggest chavs? Doubful - VB has got style, chavs haven't.

VB obviously doesn't have enough style to stop Becks from visiting the Loos though.
I'm with many others here....I don't get the whole slagging the Beckhams thing.  It's like some sort of weird national past time.  I kind of like them and really hope everything works out for their family after a rocky year or so.  They seem to love their children very much - every child should be so lucky.  Welcome to the world baby Cruz.   And as for the kids getting a hard time because of their names....heads up you guys!  These kids will go to school with other kids of the rich and famous, not to your local comp.  They do not have names that will be considered unusual - an example being that Brooklyn went to nursery with a girl named Twinkle.  I rest my case. When we named our son, we really didn't care what anyone else thought of our shortlist or our eventual choice.  We plumped for Charlie, and it suits him perfectly, just as Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz doubtless all fit theirs perfectly.   Personnally, I think they are better than names which imply a characteristic - Faith, Chastity, Hope, Charity for example...could be a lot to live up to...LOL!

Yes that's right, all my soverign rings, and I'm just tilting my baseball cap so that I can see the screen properly......hup! pulling myself up from the floor where I dropped laughing so hard and couldn't get back up due to the weight of the chains around my neck, pciking up local radio stations on my hoop earrings, etc etc.  Narrow minded, you?

There's a thread elsewhere about a baby girl named "Unique". Of those people here who are happy to slate Beckham for his kids' names, how many are going into that thread to tell a non-celeb that their choice of name is stupid and chav-like?

People slag the Beckhams (especially Victoria) for being famous while having little talent. The fact is that she generates so much attention (as you've all amply demonstrated here) that she doesn't need ability to be in the papers so often. You can't criticise *her* for the amount of attention that you pay her!
becks - what makes VB a, quote, 'shrewd business woman'?
She's only doing the full time mum bit because she failed at everything else. If someone offered her someting, she'd palm the kids off on her mum/nanny. As for having to move to Spain, she only did because without DB, she knows she would become obscure pretty fast.
* something

I dont understand why people care what they have named their kid, its entirely up to them. One thing though all this talk about consequences when he goes to schoolits not like Cruz will be going to a state school amongst kids with normal names. Hell be mixing with the rich and elite and nobody would pick on him cos hes David Beckhams son. I dont think that Zo Bowie got teased for her name or in fact any famous offspring in the past, nor will Apple, Brooklyn, Romeo or any of the others. So you dont like his name, so what? I dont think The Beckhams will be shaking in their boots over your lack of approval.
