Sorry if i have posted this thread in the wrong topic place thing but i wasnt sure where to put it. Does anyone know what the worlds biggest/largest airport is currently?? Ive searched a bit but cant really find anyhting. Thanx for any help

If by �largest' you mean the number of passengers handled, Atlanta USA - with some 77 million in 2002 - is tops. Heathrow was third then with about 63 million. (Of course, these figures may well have changed over time, but they are probably in much the same proportion.)
If you mean the surface area the airport actually covers, King Khaled International Airport, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia covers 87 square miles. Click here and a link will take you to its official website. In Paragraph 3, you will see the area is 225 square kilometres, which = 87 square miles.If you click here you will be taken to the Denver International Airport website. There, it tells you the area is 53 square miles. It is the largest in the USA, but trails well behind in international terms, being only 61% the size of KKIA.
