Once again the EDL have been banned from making a marched protest at the increase of Islam to this country.

Why is a group who state they are not racist not allowed to protest in their own country, against something they feel strongly about?

Why not ban the counter march by the Far-Left groups, to see who it is who causes the trouble? They in turn could then be allowed to have their march without any interference from the EDL.

So all you EDL bashers tell me?

Although I don't expect you to agree there is a problem with the march of Islam into the Western World.

In the name of Islam they are terrorising most countries in the Western World, we are at war with them, our 'home grown' Muslims are training in Pakistan to come back to the country they were born in, specifically to cause harm, death and mayhem on their fellow countrymen.

Taking all this on board and the fact that the so called 'moderate Muslims' are not willing to condemn these fanatics, what do you suggest that the ordinary 'man in the street' does about it?

Take it all lying down, until it is too late, or gather together in a group to protest, just the same as other groups are allowed to protest their concerns, but without being ostracised by name calling and 'pigeon holing'?
If 'Islam' is not a race, then what is it? A Nebulous concept? An Idea? A theory?

If islam is real enough to be protested against, it is real enough to be protected.

A monotheistic religion.

Can't quite see where you are going ion this one Andy.

If Nazism is real enough to be protested against, it is real enough to be protected.

Doesn't quite work does it?
so aog, are you joining the march or just taking it all lying down ?

What's this Scotch Mist?

If it Honks like a goose and it steps like a goose it's the EDL
Was this march going to go through an area with a predominately Islamic population? There's a phrase for that: Coat trailing
...and as AOG drowns in a sea of disagreement once more, it's back to CB !
he must be having a lie down.

What do you see when you look at these pictures?

(You may have missed them from an earlier post).

Let's put it this way - if you were walking past a pub at chucking out time, and any one of these men approached you, what would be the first thing to go through your head?
..yes and what do you see when you see my avatar !

All I can see in the photo you provided left to right,

1: A harmless looking enough chap wearing spectacles and a baseball cap.

2: Another chap with his mouth open as if shouting something.

3: A big guy who happens to have a bald head (the only skin head) who is just pointing a finger.

4: This chap is the only one that looks aggressive, but all he is doing is shouting in rage, at whom it does not show.

5: Last one has pulled his hood over his face, so not to be recognised for some reason (no harm in that) and holding his hand aloft.

No jake not one chap amongst them who would make my knees knock in fear.
it's onlly the women in burqas that get your knees a-tremble then, aog?
The EDL did a march through Aylesbury a few months back. The week ahead of the march there was scare mongering galore. We were almost led to believe we should all lock ourselves in our homes for the next year or you will be attacked. We had to go to an out of town shop on the day and there were police everywhere, it was quite scary even though we were no where near where the march was planned. The next day I looked at the news to see what had happened, expecting all sorts of horror stories. It took about 15 minutes before I found one story of about 3 paragraphs stating it had passed mostly without incident and the police made 2 or 3 arrests. I'm sure they arrest more people on a saturday night.
